Sure, we’ll cover how to work out without a gym, and how to cook a basic meal, and things like that. But we’re going to dive deep into fixing your mindset, helping you build habits, and change your life one choice at a time.

Depending on where you’re at now with your life, that might sound crazy; however, give me your attention now and promise me you’ll take a few key actions and we’ll get you there. I promise!
A big part of your success will be finding things you enjoy – if you don’t like running or going to a gym, you’ll never have to do either of those things and you’ll STILL find happiness, purpose, and a sense of accomplishment with your training.
Small changes can eventually add up to huge results. You’re going to learn how to make small changes, how to do basic workouts, and cook a few good meals that help you fundamentally change your appearance and mindset.

So, Why Super Chica Fitness?
Hey, I’m Marietta Roberts(On the left.). I was born and raised in Pureto Rico and now live in Colorado with my husband and dog. My husband Matt gave me the nickname Super Chica because I try so hard to help so many people change their lives through fitness. Sometimes I work 12 hour days just to squeeze in as many people as I can. I truly love what I do and I’m so excited to be able to help you.
There is so much bad information out there about weight loss. Large companies pushing supplements and products that just don’t work and frankly, can be very dangerous for your health. Also, weight loss is different for men and women, so I decided to ONLY FOCUS ON WOMEN’S WEIGHT LOSS. I’m good it and I’ve been successful with 100s of women and now I want to help you.
So, I started SuperChicaFitness.com so I could help chicas all over the world lose weight and get in shape. The internet can be an amazing tool and it has allowed me to reach 100’s more people (and soon 1000s!) and change so many more women’s lives for the better.
And believe it or not, I’m looking for a women just like you to join the Super Chica fiesta!
My only request is this, BRING ALL OF YOU: the quirks, the challenges, the baggage, the struggles. That’s what I’m here for . To help you work thorough those things and become a better version of beautiful you. The world needs more super women, and I want you to be one of them.
Super Chica Fitness Weight Loss Philosophy
Exercise & Fitness – Move/Play For Life
We believe that exercise should be fun. In fact we think you should feel like you’re going out to play. Exercise….yuck! Training…aweful! Fitness…. Booo! It’s no wonder you hate “working out” right? We call it all these awful words that are as exciting as algebra class in 9th grade. Now I’m not a math person but I am a person that likes to have fun. And we’re going to keep it fun! Don’t like running? Not a problem, we’ll find something you like. Hate the gym? No worries we’ll get you set up at home. Not a fan of endless situps, well we can’t help you there… just kidding! We’ll find a fun exercise to flatten that tummy!
Anything that gets you sweating is an acceptable form of “working out” for us. Running, cycling, mountain biking, skiing, yoga, swimming, SUPing. Whatever it is you like to do, let’s build on that and make you even better at it. Find your passions
The more comfortable you get doing your strength training the more fun you will begin to have. All you need is a positive attitude and make the choice to do the workouts.
Nutrition – Eating For Life
We understand that nutrition is probably 40% of the weight loss equation. In fact you can lose weight without working out at all if you just focus only on what you eat. I don’t subscribe to any particular fad diets but I do like the south beach diet and a paleo-type diet. To keep it simple you’ll just have to cut out sugar, dairy, processed foods and alcohol. What!?!? No, wine? I know, I hear you whining about wine and alcohol but if you want to jump start your weight loss it helps to cut it out for the first 30 days. But, do not despair. If you want to add it back in you can. But really it is up to you. If you can stay “on plan” while having a glass of wine with dinner then we’ll talk about that and make adjustments as we go along. I’m here for you so we’ll talk through it all and make a plan that works for you.
Mindset – Healthy Life Mindset
Mindset is about 50% of the weight loss equation. More than anything else, not nutrition, not exercise, you have to be ready to lose the extra pounds and you have to find your reasons why you want to lose the weight. The real reasons, not just, “I want to look good.”
We believe that excuse do not have a place and a positive attitude will get you to your goals. All we have to do is make a choice to make a change and follow through. Simple as that. Anyone can make excuses as to why they are overweight and out of shape. The people that successfully lose weight are the ones that make their choice, deal with the hand they’re dealt, and then get the work done!
We all have jobs, families, bills and hardships that can keep us from losing weight. Rather than use those things as excuses or shirk our responsibilities to get in shape, why not find a way to incorporate your changes into your daily life?
Your new move for life goals and eating for life nutrition plan can become part of what you are, not replace who you are.
